LIAVIS is the controller for personal data collected via liavis.com. For any question about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact us at contact@liavis.com.

Depending on how you use the site, we collect:

• Account and identity: name, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text), preferred language and currency;
• Orders and billing: purchase history, billing address, order status;
• Payment: our payment providers process card or mobile money data; LIAVIS never receives or stores this data in full, only a transaction confirmation;
• Support: content of support tickets and conversations with our team or our conversational assistant;
• Browsing: technical data (IP address, device type, pages viewed) collected via cookies, detailed in our cookie policy;
• Newsletter: email address if you voluntarily subscribe to our communications.

• Order management and delivery of purchased digital products — contract performance;
• Creating and managing your account — contract performance;
• Customer support and responding to requests — contract performance and legitimate interest;
• Fraud prevention and tax compliance — legal obligation and legitimate interest;
• Improving the site and our offering — legitimate interest;
• Sending marketing communications — consent, revocable at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every email.

Your data is never sold to third parties. It may be shared with the following providers, strictly to the extent necessary to deliver the service:

• Supabase (database, authentication, storage of digital files) — hosted on Amazon Web Services, Europe region;
• Lemon Squeezy (card payment processing, Merchant of Record);
• Mobile Money provider (Mobile Money payment processing for West and Central Africa);
• Resend (transactional emails: purchase receipts, account activation, download links);
• Anthropic (provider of the AI model powering our support conversational assistant, without any transmission of payment data);
• competent authorities where required by law.

Our main providers host your data within the European Union. Where a provider is located outside the European Union, we ensure it offers appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or equivalent) in accordance with the GDPR.

Account data is kept for as long as the account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after deletion, subject to data we must retain longer to meet our legal and tax obligations (in particular billing data, kept for the applicable statutory period). Support data is kept as long as necessary to handle the request, then archived or deleted.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data, within the limits of our legal retention obligations;
• Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format;
• Right to object and to restriction: object to certain processing or request that it be restricted;
• Withdrawal of consent: at any time, for processing based on consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies).

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at contact@liavis.com. We respond within one month at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country of residence.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data (password hashing, secure HTTPS connections, restricted access to sensitive data, strict separation between public and private API keys). The digital files you purchase are stored in a private space and are never publicly accessible: every download goes through a signed, temporary link tied to your entitlement.

The site uses cookies strictly necessary for it to function (session, cart, preferences) as well as, subject to your consent, privacy-friendly audience measurement cookies. The details of the cookies used and how your consent is managed are described in our cookie policy.

The site is intended for users who are of legal age or otherwise have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in their country of residence. We do not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to applicable regulations. The last update date is shown at the top of this page. In the event of a significant change, we will notify you by email or via a visible notice on the site.
